Windows 7 is supported on AR System 7.5.00 and has been since Windows 7 GA’ed on October 22nd, 2009. The
7.5 Compatibility Matrix has been updated to specifically reflect Windows 7 support.
Please note that Windows 7 support will have the same restrictions as Vista and XP - i.e. 32-bit only and only on
the business-level editions (Professional, Enterprise, Ultimate). In other words, the "or higher" doesn't mean
that new OS environments are added - like 64-bit Windows 7 or the home version of Windows 7.
Earlier we were able to install the user tool on 64 bit version of XP but now due to architectural change in
windows 7 the aruser.exe is not able to recognize the OS.
Previous versions of Remedy AR System do not support Windows 7.
